Hi!

I need to upgrade my system and my graphics cards is ok and I don't need to buy a new one for now. But the new motherboards for the new processors don't support AGP, only PCI Express and my graphics card is AGP! Are there any solutions exept buying a new PCI Express graphics card, like AGP to PCI Express adapters maybe? Or do you know some motherboards that have PCI Express and still support AGP? Any other solutions?

Thanks!

what vile said asrock sata2

You don't even know which cpu he has!!!

Just like...
Poster:I need a new body for my vehicule.. I plan to keep the same engine

answer:get either a Toyota body or a chevy one.

answer2: What answer1 tell, toyota

But what if the engine is a caterpillar 500 diesel engine for truck???

Common.. you can do better than that.. start asking which CPU he has first??? Or as vile did, giving some different solution.

Vile, there are no LGA775 boards with AGP and PCIe. The only board on the market is the Asrock you mentioned for S939, as that's the only chipset that supports both.

The other solutions adapt an AGP slot to the PCI bus, a truely...Vile solution!

Actually http://www.asrock.com/product/775Dual-880Pro.htm
or you could go 478 with pci-e only
http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=247048

Or new 775 socket using intels own 865chip with agp.

1.) Wrong, not true AGP
2.) Wrong, no PCIe

Yes I was mistaken with the second board, It does how ever support pci-e only 1x though.

What do you mean not true agp, because it has a bridge??? If it works I would consider it agp.
