Hi,
is there any way to mod the AGP port on an FIC AD 11 from 4x to AGP pro. I've heard that fastwrites and sidebanding work better w/ AGP Pro, and as I will be enabling that via hardware on my GF3 soon, I would like to change the port to AGP Pro.

An AGP PRO slot is no different in the front section than a regular AGP slot. The only difference is the pro slot has extra power connectors in the second part of the slot.Very few cards take advantage of these extra power connectors.
Your GEFORCE 3 will not know the difference. IT does not have the extra connectors to take advantage of the extra power connectors.

I aint signing nothing!!!

Yup. AGP Pro is used for workstation cards, which is why its found on "workstation" mobos more often than "enthusiast" mobos. If you'll note, you will have a little plastic thingy blocking part of the AGP Pro slot, effectively turning it into an AGP slot.

They probably do, but the AGP pro slot is LARGER than the AGP slot. Your Geforce3 only fits in an AGP slot. If your mobo has an AGP Pro slot, you will have a little piece of plastic in the AGP Pro slot, which turns it into an AGP slot. There is no point in removing the plastic, because your card does NOT USE AN AGP PRO SLOT!!! If you your mobo only has a normal-sized AGP slot, THER IS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY TO TURN THE SLOT INTO A PRO! and like I mentioned before, why would you want to. Sorry man, but no "enthusiast" Video Cards use the AGP Pro slot, so you're outa luck.
