AGP Support

Help needed!

My Win2k runs fine and I don't have any problems with games but I can't get AGP to work under my MS Windows 2000 Ver 5.00.2195

The WCPUID Ver.2.8c-B5/AGP Chip-set Info reports AGP Operations as 'Disable' and blank under the 'Current Data Transfer Rate' box. Both Quake2 and Quake3 loads the OpenGL NVIDIA/PCI/3DNOW! driver instead of NVIDIA/AGP/3DNOW! and also Gamma correction can't function at all.

System Hardware:
1. AMD Duron700
2. ABIT KT7-RAID (BIOS Rev. UL)
3. ASUS AGP-V7700 Deluxe (GF2GTS 32MB)
4. SB Live (Liveware 3.0)
5. 3COM 3C900-COMBO PCI NIC
6. 128MB PC133 CAS3

Patches, Updates & Hack applied so far:
1. MS Service Pack 1
2. MS Application Compatibility Update
3. MS VIA AGP Driver Update
4. VIA Chipset 4in1 Driver Ver 4.25a
5. TweakTown VIA AGP 4x Registry Hack
6. NVIDIA Detonator 6.31

Thank you.

FYI, my AGP is running fine now with 4x Data Transfer Rate, Sideband Addressing Enabled & AGP Aperture Memory Accessible as reported by both ASUS Control Panel & WCPUID. Q2 & Q3 producing frame rates as expected with OpenGL AGP 3DNow! driver loaded.

Thanks to SOV of AMD Team at TweakTown for the tip.

Cheers all.
