I will be getting the Nvidia 6800 Ultra, when its available in the UK. Would I be better off waiting for the PCI-X Version, again when its available, and, also will there be a very big difference between AGP8 and PCI-X.(Does any one know when PCI-X Mobo's will be available)
I know people will ask why Nvidia? It is just that i have 5 Pc's on a lan and 3 have Gforce FX's and 2 with ATI cards, and the FX's just seem to give me the least problems with drivers etc. (Flame on boys) Thanks for any info.

Actually you DON'T mean PCI-X you mean PCI-EX.

And likely it will offer no immediate performance differences. The main thing is whether you want to stick with your current mobo or whether you are going to be buying a new mobo with PCI-EX slots. If you are building a fresh computer with an eye on the future, then go PCI-EX, if you are simply looking to upgrade your Graphics card, then go with the AGP solution until PCI-EX gets sorted out.

New PCI-EX equipped Mobos should be appearing around mid/late june for the P4 editions. SIS is said to have one ready for the end of May.

PCI-X and PCI Express are two different standards.
What you mean is PCI Express.
There are no plan to use PCI-X in graphics cards.
