*** er and AM WILLING TO RE-INSTALL WINDOWS IF IT IS NECESSARY.

So basically my question is, how do i enable AHCI mode on my AMD SYSTEM, WITH AN AMD PHENOM II X4 965 with a ASUS M4A78 Pro motherboard.

I AM RUNNING WINDOWS 7 - DO I NEED ANY EXTRA DRIVERS OR ANYTHING? ONCE AGAIN REMEMBER THIS IS AMD

THANKS EVERYONE (Y)

Look at your Motherboard manual under "BIOS Options" or something like that. Usually, it's listed under "Advanced Features" or something like that. As for Win 7, it should be able to install the AHCI drivers automatically during boot (you may need to re-install however).

Also, TURN OFF THE DAMN CAPS LOCK!
