AHCI controller update?

Should i install the AMD AHCI driver for my AM4 motherboard?Right now under the device manager it shows "Standard AHCI 1.0 serial ATA controller".

"Standard AHCI 1.0 serial ATA controller" is the built-in driver in Windows OS.

If you have the SSD, you are better to update the AMD chipset driver, you can get it either from the MB site or AMD site.
