I LOVE it!

They opened it up for sign up yesterday, then closed it after a *short* bit.

I managed to get in, and I hear they reopened and closed it yet again today.

I figured it works out to just under £4 a month. Not even 1/3 of my hourly
rate, and considering how often I play neo, its worth it for me.

I've just gone fr the portal option, and let me tell you, it RAWKS!

I can see my stocks, my onhand, till and bank np, as well as all the new
features and whatnot.


Also, I've written in several times, and had extremely fast responses back;
the support alone is worth it's weight in gold.

Hey Clotho!

Im glad you like the premium service. It does seem like it is worth it, but
it just doesn't seem fair that you have to pay to get anyone over at neo to
pay attention to you.

does it not make sense that they treat their paying customers with priority?
It does to me. Especially when they have millions of non-paying customers.

It's not a matter of treating paying customers with priority, it's a
matter of providing the absolute worst customer service on earth to
everyone else. And the non-paying customers which are indistinguishable
from dirt over there are the entire basis for the millions of dollars in
advertising revenue Neopets has racked up over the years.

If you think the non-paying customers are costing them something, you're
quite mistaken.

I have actually not had problems with customer service from them. Anytime I
have written in with an issue I have heard back the next day. I know that a
lot of people have had different experiences but mine have been just fine
that way.

I'd hazard a guess that site users, whether non-paying or not, do cost
them at least in server capacity. They have to keep up with the amount
of users. And, admittedly, there are at times "buggy days" at Neopets
when nothing seems to work, I still think it's a very complex site
considering it's free (to most users).

Agreed, but even the non-paying customers represent a positive cash flow
for the company, which is what I meant. The number of users and the
stickiness of the site are the basis for their millions of dollars in
advertising revenue, and that's due almost entirely to the non-paying
customers.

K, since you can bend their ear easier than I can... tell them about
the two huts housing the same shops on the marketplace. XD
