Ai Suite 3 reccognizing ML120 as ~920rpm max

I use AI Suite 3 to do an easy fan set up and do the rest manually on the same software. I am using a Corsair H100i V2 to cool the CPU. I swapped out the stock fans on the H100i due to noise issues with the ML120s. The current issue is when I use Fan Xpert 3 it only tops the ML120 fans at around 920RPMs when they're rated for 400-2400RPMs. Yet when I put the same exact fans directly onto any fan header (both CPU and Chassis Fan) instead of the provided fan splitter with the H100i it recognizes that it can go to 2400RPMs. I just want to know if anyone has heard of this issue or experienced it. It seems to me that the problem may be the H100i V2 cooler not recognizing it or maybe cause the cooler utilizes at 3 pin CPU fan connector?

they should be in the the 3 pin CPU fan connector and maybe try using corsair link program to create a fan curve on temps of the cpu.
