While AIDA 64 shows 50 degrees Celsius when being stressed, HWMonitor shows 90 degrees Celsius! Which one is correct and why are they so different?
CPU: AMD A10 7870k OC’d to 4.6 GHz (from 3.9)
Aida64 is probably right. 90c would likely kill that CPU. Temp software when it comes to older AMD processors is notoriously inaccurate. I would try AMD overdrive. It measures thermal margins, you don't want the thermal margin to go into the negatives.
