Hi. I'm building a computer for my father, and I'm in the process of installing the AIO. I have an Arctic Liquid Freezer II 240 A-RGB. The board is a Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite.

My issue is, when I went to install the metal bracket for the AM4 socket, I noticed that it seems to be touching the capacitors on my board. I've included a picture for reference.

Will this be an issue, or should it be okay?

I don't have the tools necessary to trim the bracket. It isn't actually making contact or applying pressure to the capacitors (there's a very tiny space between) so I think it'll be okay. Thanks for the help.

I went ahead and installed the pump, but I heard an ever so slight sound... Almost a creak... When I was screwing it down. There still appears to be a slight gap and I can't see any damage...

Will it be safe to try to turn the system on?
