Hi. I'm building a computer for my father, and I'm in the process of installing the AIO. I have an Arctic Liquid Freezer II 240 A-RGB. The board is a Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite.

My issue is, when I went to install the metal bracket for the AM4 socket, I noticed that it seems to be touching the capacitors on my board. I've included a picture for reference.

Will this be an issue, or should it be okay?

As long as it not causing physical damage to the cap it shouldn't matter. Like crushing etc. If you want to could just trim the bracket a bit.

I went ahead and installed the pump, but I heard an ever so slight sound... Almost a creak... When I was screwing it down. There still appears to be a slight gap and I can't see any damage...

Will it be safe to try to turn the system on?
