I'm working on a Dell studio one model 1909 has a hdd and I want to switch to ssd will I be able to?

I see no problem with upgrading your AIO computer with and SSD. However you'd have to consult with its User Manual on how to replace the drive, check some video tutorials, or get in touch with its manufacturer's customer support for more help and details.
So basically, that's it, the answer is "yes", you can use an SSD.
