If I got a aio liquid cooler would i still have to buy waterblocks, etc or is it actually all in one.

If you buy all-in-one water cooler (AIO for short), e.g NZXT Kraken x62 (specs) then you'll get all you'll need with it. Which includes: pump, tubing, rad, liquid inside it, rad fans, thermal paste (in tube or preapplied) and manual on how to install it.

Yes, most AIO's contain everything you will need in the package. This isn't to be confused with custom or kit watercooling where multiple components ARE needed...for example a single block, pump or radiator might cost as much (or more) than a single AIO cooler.
