Question Aio problem

Hi I recently installed a MSI MAG Series CORELIQUID 240R aio. Since install I can’t get my cpu to stop overheating. If I tap on radiator/fan assembly then temps drop back down to normal. What could the problem be ?

First guess would be excess air in the system causing an airlock
