AIO selection assistance

Just completed my build in the Phanteks Shift. Low and behold my Asus Strix 1080 is too long with the Corsair H80i v2 by about 3 mm, yes fan is on the bottom of the case and not on the top of the rad. Looking for an AIO with a slimmer rad. Looking at the Corsair H75 or the Deep Cool Captain Ex 120mm. Cpu is the 7700k. Any suggestions or thermal data would be greatly appreciated.

The H75 is only 2mm slimmer than the H60, and the Deep Cool is same as H60.

That list is not really useful as a lot of coolers are missing like the newer Kraken X62 and all the Corsair coolers.

well, the H75 will have to run very loud due to it's small surface. I doubt you will be able to overclock much as CPU temperature would be too high.
performance wise they will be about the same. you can improve it a bit by installing better fan (noctua NF-A12x15 would be the best)
though if i were in that situation, i'd try to see if somehow, the H90 will fit in front as 140mm rad will make a much better job.

That case only supports a 120mm in front.

However, could you move the rad to the bottom as it seems your case will also support a 120mm bottom mounted rad.
Then place a 120mm fan at the front as well to supply cold air for the cabinet.

that's what they say. it's always good to measure things yourself as some slim 140 rads might fit.
