Hey all,

For reference, I have a corsair 4000x case (tempered glass front panel, fans cranked), a 5900x, a MSI 3080, and a Corsair 280mm radiator.

So, I was running some stress tests to make sure the fans were working right (I had it on it's side and one fan wasn't spinning, up righting the case fixed it?? ..) and it was going fine, the AIO liquid was sitting steady around 41c, and the cpu around 85-90 running cinebench, with a mild overclock. Now it ran steady at this, liquid fluctuating about half a degree etc. Until it started just climbing, and it climbed from 41 to 45 in about 30 seconds and was continuing climbing till I shut off the test. Fans were running normal (both I checked) and the pump was running normal. Any reason that it would climb and continue climbing like that??

Corsair have a number of AIO's on the market, in their portfolio and on shelves. It'd help us to know what the exact model is and how the AIO is mounted in your chassis with regards to the chassis. Orientation of the fans in the case will also help us two fold.

The aio is from probably 3 years ago, fans are static pressure stock fans, running around 2200rpm.I’m fairly certain I don’t have the box so It would be hard to find. It is mounted on the top of the case as an exhaust, with 3 fans pulling air in. This test was run with the GPU at idle (so producing less than 50w area, so heat in the case was not a huge issue)
