Question AIO touching Motherboad plate

Hello people who are smarter than me,

I'm building a new system and the case turned out to be a little smaller than I thought (Lian Li airflow 216), and AIO a little bigger (Arctic liquid freezer II 280).
The AIO is touching the top motherboard plate, it's a little difficult to see on the picture, but the plate continues up behind the fan, and barely touches the radiator.



Is this going to be ok, or will it be a problem?

did you check the coller compatibility with your motherboard .

yup, it should be compatible - there's just not a lot of "ceiling height" in the case.

picture looks fine, you can try slightly unscrew your mainboard and move it by 1-2mm downward then screw it

Loosening screws so you can slide parts around a bit is a time honored way of gaining that little bit extra clearance needed between parts. If you can slip a piece of paper between the parts you'll be fine, but even light contact of those parts won't harm anything.
