Hi guys, so just out of curiosity I'm wondering which way to place the tubes is best? these pictures aren't mine they are just reference pics but in my case I dont have room to flip 360 rad so I had to mount it upwards but I'm not sure which way of tube placement is best

pic one: https://images.app.goo.gl/Z3KjM7oEsBLqsabc9

pic two: https://images.app.goo.gl/rKmtPk3jxFuhdpDy8

I'm talking about the tubing near the pump head, is it better to have it facing up or down

Solution
No not the block but the tubes connected to it, on the h150i pro XT and Om assuming many others, u can move the tubes connecyed up or down and I moved mine down, my tubes are like the first pic except i have the part connected to the pump pushed downwards

Does not make much difference , look at the fans if they are blocked more by the tubes or not.
Also the Radiator fans are more important than the case fans , make sure that the tubes are not blocking the radiator fans. choose the tube orientation that does not block the radiator fans much.

The first pic is my choice.

If you mean the CPU block orientation , does not make much difference , but make sure that the tubes are not blocking the airflow of any fans ..

The first pic looks better for airflow to me .

@R99 .
The bottom line is to avoid having the pump be the highest point of the loop, but tubing up is still worse than tubing down for noise and longevity as the fluid slowly permeates the tubes over time.
In both images you've posted, the pump is not the highest point, and the tubes aren't folded or stretched out either = results are going to be pretty similar between the 2. Flip a coin, I guess.
