AIO upgrade for Athlon 860k

Hello, Im currently using an athlon 860k with a cooler called deepcool / gamerstorm Assassin im considering on changing my cpu cooler to Deepcool Captain 240EX or Frostflow 240L but is it worth it in terms of performance or will my assassin still dominate the two?

What's the motivation here? It seems like a tremendous waste of resources to spend twice as much on a CPU cooler as the CPU itself costs, on an old platform with no potential upgrades. It strikes me as a much better idea to use money for a top-of-the-line cooler to be put towards your next platform update.

Im about to buy a video card and got enough change for AIO , My next platform upgrade wil not possible until the next 2 years I think

The Gamer Storm Assassin (assuming I'm looking at the right pics of the cooler) is already an overkill cooler for a CPU like that, buying an AIO would be a waste of money.
