AIO Water Cooling pump connected to fan controller?

Hi,
Just wondering, can I hook up my Corsair H110's pump to a fan controller safely? Or must it be connected to the CPU header? Can I run it on 100% speed?

It is not recommended.

many fan controllers even at max do not get to a full 12 volts and sometimes they are pulsing the power.

If you do not want to connect it to your board use a molex to 3 pin connector.

This is not to say that some users have not done it to slow the pump a bit.
