Hi, looking to upgrade my CPU cooler, I want an air cooler which costs around £30-£70. I have been looking at the cryorig h7 and the Noctua NH U14s, however the noctua is much more expensive and im wondering if its actually worth it

thanks

or if there are other better air coolers, please let me know

*Will be going in a meshify C case*

It's a decent amount better, with temp differences between the two growing as CPU power dissipation goes up. See the results in the following review comparing it to the 212 EVO (which I believe performs about on par with the H7, I coudn't find any direct comparisons between the H7 and the U14S).

Edit: The H7 outperforms the 212 evo by more than I though. So maybe reduce the temperature difference between the 212 EVO and the U14S by a few degrees to get an idea of H7 performance.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B074DX2SX7/?tag=pcp0f-21 arent they both u14s?

Just to reiterate, if you're not overclocking there really isn't much benefit to getting something more expensive than an H7. Unless you're treating this as an investment for the future, i.e. get something high end now such that you're set in case you want to overclock and/or get a CPU with a higher TDP in the future.

Yeah, I might do that. So if I can get a much better one for around £20 i would rather do that

is this much bettter than the H7? https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00C9FLSLY/?tag=pcp0f-21

Ah okay, thanks alot for the help, I appreciate it. I think i will stick with that u14s as like you mentioned, it could be a great investment if i do decide to overclock in the future
