Hello, I need some help here. made this custom elysium orange. need help on keeping the gpus cool. r9 280x asus triple slot ones!
i have installed the original side panel with that 200mm fan , the one i made was a clear window. id like to keep that one

current temps on the clear window topple 90C while on the fan one goes to 75C on load.
Any ideas to keep it cooled. not into gpu watercooling!

Cards are r9 280x, psu is thermaltake toughpower 1000, i was planning to put in a 3rd 280x same brand same type on maximus but need to get temps down first!

the clear panel

this panel is without any inlet for air and without fan - just a clear acrylic

nah thats a r9 280x - dont have any money left + i like the look of the asus cards!

I OCed both cards and ran benchmarks multiple times......1 by 1 ...both never came close to 75C individually plugged in....

but when i plug both of them,,,,one the cards the top one goes to 85-89C....

Need some help with air flow

They are squashed together aren't they. Your not going to be able to do much with that cooler unfortunately as they are 3 slot. (R9 280x=7970 ghz btw). You might be able to squish something very small between the top of the cards to allow some air in, but not something too thick or it could damage the pcb and the pcie slots.

yeah i know they are 7970ghz brv! any ref pic?

i meant any reference picture of what i should do , i was thinking of installing 100mm fans 3 or 4 of em in the side panel! will that make a difference.

and the res at top and side....should i put fans in there too?
