Airbus A318 and FS2K4

In FS2K4, every Airbus aircraft is recognized by ATC, except for the A318.
For example, ATC asks me to "Hold position. Caution the Airbus A318 on the
taxiway", only it just says "Airbus" instead of "Airbus A318". In the
"aircraft.cfg" file, it says "atc_model=A318", but apparently FS2K4 doesn't
recognize the A318. Why is that, and is there any way to fix it?

why is that?
Well, by the time the aircraft list to be incorporated into FS2004 for ATC
was made the A318 didn't exist.
As every text you hear is a recording someone spoke into a microphone and
noone recorded it you can't readily add it either.

Well, darn it! I guess I could probably get away with reclassifying the
aircraft as an A319 so it won't drive me batty, or just pull all 4 of my AI
A318's out of the loop altogether. Oh well. Maybe FS-X will recognize the
A318, as well as the upcoming A380.

In addition to the A318 and the A380, I forgot to mention that I hope that
FS-X will also recognize the upcoming Airbus A350, as well as the upcoming
Boeing 787 "Dreamliner", and any other aircraft that FS2K4 doesn't.
