Airflow in custom "case"

Hi,

so I am currently working on a setup that´s gonna be built into a desk.
My problem is, I have no idea how I should place my fans so that they provide a constant airflow in this block I will call the "case".

Just so you get an idea, the case will have a glass top which is going to be on the same level as the tabletop. It´s dimensions are 80cm x 550cm x 14cm (height is variable). All the cable management will be done under the case in a separate box.

The hot air should leave the case on its left side and it should take in fresh/cold air form the right.

Should I try to create a circular airflow inside the case, or a diagonal one that flows through most of the components?

Hopefully some of you guys have experience in this and can give me some tipps.
Thanks in advance!

(Today or tomorrow I am going to build a prototyp of the case with some of the mayor components built out of wooden blocks. Mostly for visualation and planning. That also should give a better insight for you guys.)

Some more specs:

Mobo: Asus ROG Strix Z370-H
GPU: Asus Turbo GTX 1060 6GB
CPU: Intel i5-7600k
Storage Devices: -Samsung 860 EVO III 256 GB
-2TB Generic S200 Hard drive
RAM: 16GB Dual-Channel
PSU: Corsair RM1000i
Fans: Any
(I am open for fan recommendations. Best one I found yet is the BeQuiet 120mm fan.)

CPU has liquid cooling but its from an unkown company called Dynatron and I have no idea where I got it from

To get some inspiration about your airflow, look the pics and vids of already available PC desk/case combos, like Lian-Li ones,
DK-03, specs: http://www.lian-li.com/dk-03/
DK-04, specs: http://www.lian-li.com/dk-04/
DK-05, specs: http://www.lian-li.com/dk-05/

I, personally, like the airflow in the DK-05 case since it's front to back. Due to that, you can set other furniture next to your table (at the sides) without worry to handicap/block airflow path inside PC casing.

Thanks for the suggestion! Didn´t even know prebuilt desks like that existed. Makes for some inspiration.

I looked at the DK-05, but I am not sure I understand it correctly.
In which direction are the tilted fans going? Are they sucking the air out of the desk? (https://imgur.com/a/UGUzNua)

You're welcome. Oh, Lian-Li isn't the only one who makes PC desk/case combos. There are others as well but Lian-Li was the 1st to come into my mind.

Tilted fans are intake. You can tell it clearly since you'll see the fan label and hub frame which is the back side of the fan.
