Hi everyone!
I'm going to install e new build with my new i7 7700k with some overclocking in mind in the next future. I need help to setup my airflow configuration from someone which has experience of using huge air coolers.
I have already ordered a Noctua NH-D15 as cooler and I was wondering about my fan configuration given the limitations of my case ( Masterbox 5t) .

I have :
3 x 120 mm Corsair AF120 LED quiet edition as frontal intake
1 rear 120 mm Akasa AK-FN058 (unfortunately my cas doesn't support bigger sizes)
The cooler will be placed from front to rear.

The case has place for a 140 mm top fan and I already have one ( AF140 LED quiet edition), but I have read a lot of different opinions on how a fan on the top of a cooler can create turbulences to airflow and actually increasing CPU temps (considering that is will also suck more air than the rear one) . On the other hand, placing it would balance a bit the pressure differential in the case (for some is a good thing, for others is

I have still time to send back my fan to Amazon so I have this options:
1. Do not mount it
2. Mount it and set it to low RPM so it will still improve hot air exhaust without influencing airflow too much
3. Mount it and leave it unleash his power

Am I more for the option 2( also because it has a nice looking led 😀 ).
Your help would be greatly appreciated :)
