Hello again people.
Im buying a new ati card and was wondering what it means when a card has the AIW or EZ or BRAVO tag on it. The cards I have seen this on is from Power color. I think the BRAVO is cards with faster ram....... but Im not sure bout the others.
Thx for helping out.

EZ = 200DDR (400Mhz) memory -> NEVER BUY IT! Slow memory used to reduce costs. Performance heavily reduced, not 9600 Pro levels you expect.

AIW = All In Wonder. Full capabilities for recording channels, playing movies/recorded programs/etc. on your TV, tunner + better memory than normal 9600 Pro. Performance between 9600Pro and 9600 XT. Overclockable.

Bravo = ¿? Sorry, don't know.

I suggest you look at least for 9600 Pro AIW reviews. This card is worth IF you plan to use its incredible features. Otherwise, regular Pro is ok.

Buying tips:
- Newegg has a Sapphire 9600 Pro under $150
- Amazon: 9600 Pro AIW for $231.

Still looking for a good online retailer in Spain :frown:

Thanks for a good and quick reply. Phew I was close to buying the EZ card.........

Grateful newbie

Bravo is Powercolor's 'top-end' card.

The R9600XT Bravo will have 380/760 mhz memory on board.
The R9600Pro Bravo has 335/670mhz memory (400mhz core).

Here's a review to a previous BRAVO model (R9600Pro);
