AIW x1900 troubles

I've long been a fan of the AIW series, and I recently got the x1900, just a lower clocked version running at 500 core and 475 memory. I've been having alot of trouble with this card, but I'm not quite sure if it's a defect or just trouble with my system.
Whenever I play Halflife 2 or CS:S the system periodically crashes and this can happen frequently no matter if i play with full AA/ AF or with none. At first I thought it was just a problem with HL2, so i reinstalled it and windows, no luck, then I tried 3DMark06 and it crashed durring that. I used ATItool to raise the fan levels and still no luck, so I'm wondering if anyone is having a similar problem or to just RMA it.

System:
ASUS P5NSLI nforce570
Core2Duo 6300
2gb mushkin ddr667
550 Ultra Xconnect II or some shit, it's not the best brand but I dont think it is the issue.

do you have enough power going to the card? Sounds like a psu problem to me. :?:

ATI tool shows 30A being delivered to the card durring artifact testing.


dual rail 12v 17A+ 18A is 35A on the 12V which should be more than enough I think
