Akasa AK ICR 07 Card Reader is not detecting.

My AKASA AK ICR 07 Card Reader has suddenly stopped detecting any SD Cards or USB Sticks that I plug into it. It was working fine, until I removed an SD card from it and now it won't pick up anything. The lights on the reader itself illuminate when a device is plugged in.

I can't find the reader in device manager (although I'm not 100% sure what I'm looking for) however, when I plug the USB stick into the reader it appears in my Devices and Printers section (but still can't be accessed from anywhere.

I have tried reinstalling the drivers I found on their website, but it hasn't made a difference.

I am running Windows 7 64-bit if that helps.

Hey Luke. I gather from what I've read that if you've tried a couple of SD cards or USB flash drive, that the problem is for sure with the card reader. Have you tried the reader with a different computer to see if the same thing happens? It might have failed for some reason... 🙁
