Motherboard: Biostar m7ncd pro
CPU: Athlon XP 2400

Ok, I set everything into my case, hook up power, jumpers, everything's going great. I boot up successfully three times, but on number four (I've removed the heatsink/fan from the cpu) I hit the power and the internal speaker starts sounding an alarm and I get nothing on the screen. It's definitly getting power, and the jumpers are all correct, so my problem is this: Is there a way to verify if it's my motherboard or cpu that has bit the dust?

WTF?!?! Did I read this right, and you did this before you booted it up the fourth time? If so, did you try putting the freaking thing back on and trying it again?

Oh my gawd....someone take his license away. Where are you at? I'm trying to decide if it's worth it to drive out there and smack you, like you said I could.
