alfa awus036nhr stopped picking up signals

So my awus036nhr stopped picking up signals, it works great in ap mode sending a network but wont pick up any. It cant even pick up the router 3 feet away from it. Then I plugged in my alfa awus036h and pick up over 50 ap's.

I tried the drivers on the cd tried the newest drivers for alfa's website. tried on more than one pc with different OS.

It worked fine for about 3 hours till this problem happened.

So something is wrong with the software or is this a hardware thing?

also if it isnt something you can fix what is alfas warranty?
