Please, oh please, get this one right. I've always thought an Alien game could be awesome, only to be disappointed with each and every attempt to turn the Alien franchise into a amazing horror game

"The object here is to navigate through the Nostromo, hit the self-destruct button, and then retrace the steps back to the shuttle. Scary"

I'm not sure I could do that. Especially with that warning siren sound from the movie. I saw Alien the year after it came out, and I was 9. Pretty much scarred for life...

No actor for Kane is possibly because the two scenes mentioned occur after Kane is killed by the chestburster ??

If I read the reports of this dlc (which I'm stoked about) yes the game picks up after Ripley and the last 2 survivors are attempting to escape (can never remember the names of the "expendable" cast members, lol).

Forget the DLC for a moment if i have this right they know the Alien is in the ship but send in one scientist?... seriously! Correct me if i am wrong please but this game sounds about as fun as jumping in a pool of great whites with dead seals tied to me.

the whole thing frmo the original Alien Movie is that the Nostromo diverts course(It's a minig ship!) to a distress signal, investigates and encounters a Xeno*morph. in the garbled and likely widely spaced transmissions that follow, they report back to Weland Yutani that one guy has a face hugger on him (Kane) and is not posing a threat to other crew. He's in the Medbay under observation. there's little cause to send a slew of people out there at least for the early transmissions. they probably assumed these roughnecks couldn't tell a rock from a snail and sent out one dude to sort it out. the later transmissions came DAYS later usually through the android (under discretion, orders were for him to acquire the specimen and not worry about live crew members) so, yes...one scientist. that is the evil that is Weyland Yutani.
