Alienware 13 CPU Upgrade

I got an Alienware 13 at no cost to myself, so no griping about how it isn't worth it, yes i realize.
Anyways, I got an Alienware 13 but it has a pretty crappy CPU which I feel will bottle neck any gaming I want to do, like Minecraft, which is CPU intensive, or GTA which is also CPU intensive.
I did a bit of a research and figure I have to find out the sockets on the motherboard, then get a better CPU that fits to those sockets and replace them? Hopefully that would work, I'd just like confirmation or correction from one of you more knowledgeable than me.

Really? I thought it wouldn't be able to run well. On my desktop i record on max settings with 90+, like that kind of killing?
GPU is Geforce gtx 860m w/ 2gb gddr5

And with Alienware Amplifier, I can use a gtx 980

I know, but it makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. So, will it run it?

but in 95% of games should be pretty awesome
