Alienware 18 BIOS password recovery

Going through my deceased brother stuff was his alienware 18 which it couldn't boot up.He must have had a BIOS password installed on the system.The set up or the partition for recovery cannot be found.The Pop up message for the BIOS menu shows a Unlock Setup?" before continuing.Current OS installed is windows 8 pro.How can I reset the BIOS password which will allow me to perform a recovery or clean installation to have the system running as normal? Need assistance.
