I've got an Alienware 3080 with a Ryzen 7 3700x, Temps running at 68-70C max. GPU and CPU utilization between 60% and 75% at higher loads. FPS on AC Valhalla is between 50-70, ultra settings, 3440x1440p. Is it really this low? A friend of mine has a 3070 + Ryzen 7 3700x build and he runs games at higher frames than me, at the exact same settings. I also noticed that at ultra settings with ray tracing off, COD Cold War jumps around between 95 and 140. What could be wrong with my setup? I already checked for newest drivers, and changed settings to performance in NVIDIA Control Panel.

Solution
You're running more pixels than a normal 1440p monitor. The FPS of 60-80 (from youtube videos) with a RTX 3080 in this game with a 2560 x 1440 monitor. With yours probably 50-70. Exactly what you're reporting. Does your friend has the same RAM? Same monitor? GPU and CPU are not the only things relevant.

Same thing for COD. Around 100 to 150 fps with a 2560x1440p monitor. Yours is bigger so 95-140 and FPS jumping is normal in a First Person Shooter depending on what is happening on the screen.
