alienware alpha has a gtx 980m?

hello everyone... i just contacted the dell.com support team to ask them some questions about the AlienWare alpha.. then i asked him ''how well would the the gpu performs ??'' he said it will performs the same as the gtx 980m!!.. is that true?? as some review says it has a gtx 860!?.. it will be the best bang for the buck.. as a lot of pc's that has a gtx 980m prices above 1500$,?!.. anyways.. someone knows better >?? 😛

It's Dell customer service support. They aren't always the most knowledgeable from my experiences.

From all I've read/seen, the GPU in the Alpha is on par with the GTX 750ti full size GPU. Also, out of the box, the 5400rpm HDD NEEDS to be replaced with a proper 7200rpm or preferably SSD in order not to choke out the whole system.

Still a very respectable machine for the price. I just wish it didn't have Dell tied to it.
