That PSU is beyond adequate.550W power supply.
Looking for minimum 650W with this GPU.
Uh no? At 1440p that CPU might outperform a 5600. It will at the very least be identical in performance. You can easily verify this by checking one of many Youtube videos. Even the 3600 is alomst literally exactly the same at 1440p.Odd they talk a lot about the GPU but only mention the last generation CPU once, not that great a deal.
The wattages might be ok but I would not plug a RTX 3070 on a low quality PSU. Since they don't say which model it is expect it to be crappy. That PSU is beyond adequate.
NVidia’s 650w rating is when using a 10900k, a cpu that can peak to 250w.550W power supply.

Overkill. I have an overclocked, higher power limit 3070 and 3900X. It only hits about 385 Watts at the wall.550W power supply.

Dell's PSUs have been pretty solid for years now. After all, they do want to make sure they're not dealing with warranty claims. The wattages might be ok but I would not plug a RTX 3070 on a low quality PSU. Since they don't say which model it is expect it to be crappy.
I think that is a bad assumption. The wattages might be ok but I would not plug a RTX 3070 on a low quality PSU. Since they don't say which model it is expect it to be crappy.
I'm not that knowledgeable on Dell's PSU. I guess they do decent PSU's which I didn't know. Thanks for the info.I think that is a bad assumption.
A) The average person buying a prebuilt computer isn't going to know PSU models or brands.
B) Dell is likely buying a white label PSU with reasonable specs from a known brand at a discount. Thus it is mostly likely a 'good but not great' PSU.
