I recently brought an Alienware graphics amp and I was wondering how much of a bottleneck would my I5-4210H be for the RTX 2060, If its too much of a bottleneck which GPU would you suggest I get instead?

So I won't be able to play any games or just games that are CPU intensive? I only plan on playing at 1080 60fps with vysnc enabled.

Sure, it'll be playable. Just your cpu lacks a little in physical resources department to keep up with a 2060, as it's not a true quad core, but newer games are moving away from quads. A 4 core/ 8 thread, or 6 core cpu would be the minimum.

A 2060 has similar specs to the 1070ti, both which are better served on high refresh 1080p at least.
The 1050 would be a better pairing for your current cpu.
Balance is important. 1080p 60hz isn't very graphically demanding for a 2060, a mid-range gpu. Your cpu is on the low end performance-wise, so between a 1080p 60hz monitor, the 4210H, and a 2060, the 2060 would be the weakest link.
And that link would force you to eventually get a stronger cpu to keep up with it. The budget level 1050 would see smoother performance.

The reason I aimed so high for a 2060 is because later on this year I plan on getting a desktop and adding the 2060 into the desktop, I'm just using the AWA currently until then.

Do you know what kind of cpu said desktop will have?

Be aware that performance will dip frequently should you go forward with the 2060. It'll bog down the 4120H until then.

I plan on getting a high end i7 with it but nothing is written in stone rn, ok so a game like rainbow six siege, I can get a pretty good 60fps on medium+custom settings with my current gpu which is a gtx 965m. So would my 2060 perform worse in such a game?

It would, and as I said in my previous posts, your old cpu will get pegged to 100% usage because it can't keep up, thereby causing fps drops. The 2060 is kinda strong for just 1080p 60fps.

1070 performs similar to the 2060, so no real change there.
1060 6gb would be a little better, but you're still going to have issues with it. A dual core cpu just isn't a good match for most 10-series cards.

Look at it this way. Go ahead and get the 2060. Upgrade the cpu as soon as you are able to. Unfortunately, performance won't be great during that waiting period. Or:
Wait until you can afford to get the gpu and desktop all at once.
