Alienware M17x Lags with Counter Strikey GO (<30 FPS)

Hey Guys,

My Rig:

Alienware M17x R4, i7 4800, 16Gigs of Ram, Nvidia GTX 770 Card.

I run in 120 hz refresh rate. My Problem is that game fps drops ot 30 FPs for 3-4 Secs and again gains 120-180 FPS. It drops every 10-30 Secs for 4 Secs and gets back normal again. I saw in youtube and tried several commands but nothing helped me.. can you guys please suggest me soemthing?

ensure high performance power plan is set through windows! even so gaming with battery can lead in such abnormal behavior!i suggest switching to a/c adapter! update to the latest drivers and ensure nvidia optimus tech is working as intended (not switching between gtx 770 and igp while gaming)

Try to monitor your cpu temp

Alienware as gaming laptops have very good colling, however monitoring cpu temps is a must,as CS: GO is very cpu dependant! gpu temps must be monitored also!
