Alienware m17x r4 (A09 BIOS) Overclocking potential?

Ok, most people immediatly shout, " don't do it mate, laptops are too compact for overclocking."

aye but come on, just a smidge? PLEEEASE! :L

3rd gen i7 3720qm, at basic 2.6GHz, and what, 3.2 max on turbo? The temp will raise to 81 degrees Celsius max on say ARMA 2 with high graphics...

105 degrees is the max working temp on it, and i'm no fussed with fan noise...

Should I or should I not?

I'm pretty sure you can't overclock; laptop bios are not made for that. (no function)

Go into bios and lock to see if you can change frequency, voltage in cpu section. I'm pretty sure it doesn't exist.

Yes you can on the m17x! advanced settings, overclocking enabled, you get a range of features to play with! Which is what I would expect from such an overpriced laptop!
