Alienware has their Aurora R16 with rtx 4090 2TB storage and 64gb of DDR5 5200 for $2999

I know the non upgradeable mobo and psu for this rig but other than that I am trying to talk myself into buying it. In the past I have built my rigs but I only really want to play games and normal usage otherwise (internet, email, etc...).

I usually try to get 3 or 4 yrs and then upgrade to a new build etc...

Seems like a pretty good deal for decent price. I do not overclock or anything, just a normal user and want a 4090

Thoughts

Thanks!

re: the case size, I do agree that the size of the gpu and compact design of the case could be an issue

I think that is what you are saying, right?

The GPU alone is worth 2k, considering you're getting the remainder components for about 1k, and you don't have to build it, well IMO, it's not that bad value.

Edit: I'd agree with @USAFRet , the GPU is major overkill for your system. The 4080 Super version is more than enough, and will save a pocket full of money.

Depends a lot on the games too. If you play casually, 4070 Super is plenty for 1440p gaming. Maybe not at the highest settings.

If you are going up from a GTX1080, then there will be huge improvements even going to something like a 4060 Ti.
