Alienware X51 R2 - CD Drive??

So this seems really silly, but I am not about to ruin a $1,000 computer because I was impatient;

I cannot seem to get a CD into my CD Drive on my new Alienware X51. I would think just by placing the CD to the drive area it would take it in itself, but it is not doing so. Do I need to just actually push it all the way into the drive?

Sorry for a silly question, but I cannot find an answer anywhere lol.

there is a button you can press, or you can just give the drive a little push and it should go in
