What to do? I bought ASUS B75M-PLUS and it has 4 pin fan connector , but all the coolers have 3 pins... Please help me figure it out

Solution
The three pin connector is designed to plug into the right 3 pins of the fan header.
You will see how it works as you plug it in. You can't mess it up. And you will be fine.
The 4th pin is for 'Pulse Width Modulation' fan connections, but is compatible with the normal 3 pin connector too.

Solution
You can use the 3pin in a 4pin header, you won't be able to control fan through PWm. However, on some newer motherbaords that allow you directly control fan speed through the BIOS, you will have 2 choices of fan control, PWM and DC..... The 4 pin fans are PWM controlled......Your 3 pin fan speed can only be controlled by DC so if your motherbaord has the option, make sure you set all your 3 pin fans to DC and all your 4 pin fans to PWM.
