I am having an issue that when trying to install Corsair Link and Corsair Utility Engine (CUE), It freezes my PC. I was having issues with them updating and they also froze when trying to uninstall. I eventually had to download an force uninstaller program to get them to uninstall. The software for both worked great before with not a problem. It is a recent issue (obviously). Ive tried searching the issue with no success. Ive flashed my mobo to the latest version and made sure everything was up to date. Also I have ccleaner pro and ran that. No new hardware has been added besides my new keyboard (Corsair K95), mouse and mousepad (all Corsair). My specs are sabertooth z97 mark 1 motherboard, 32 gb of 1600 patriot memory, GeForce gtx1080(x2), Intel 4790k cpu, corsair atx 1200i psu, corsair h115i cpu watercooler(with link), and some rgb fans. Sorry if I left something out. Ive emailed corsair with no response yet but was very recently and it is driving me up the wall. If someone can explain why my PC is freezing with just Corsair software on install (and uninstall), it would be much appreciated. Thank You

Update: I did a full reinstall of my windows 10 pro. Having same issue with install. At this point I believe it is an hardware issue. I did switch cases not to long ago and there also was a storm.

Update 2: Windows will not update from 1511 to 1607. Ive tried numerous options with no luck.

Solution
Okay so after hours of trial and error I finally have it resolved. I'm not sure if what I did fixed the issue or if it was just a coincidence but I will explain just in case people are having a similar issue. I have all corsair and windows update as well as my Nvidia drivers working.

1. reset motherboard bios by pulling battery for a minute then putting it back.
2. made sure time was right in windows and in bios.
3. downloaded driver software to make sure all other drivers were up to date. (Driver Booster 4)
4. Windows update, advanced setting, choose how update are delivered, and turned on PCs on my own network.

Once that was complete it all went well and finished without issue. I also ran memtest86 but it showed my memory as...
