All Data created shortcut in usb

Hi Here is one issue that I face while connecting my usb/pendrive to the computer., All my data created shortcut of itself., and hiding the real files., So I have to delete the shortcut and unhide all my data using command., if we unhide by Folder option it'll be just dim and still it'll not be on unhide mood., so I change the attributes using cmd., then only it work fine., is this the OS Problem or Can anyone tell me what cause this??
