All downloads from microsoft are 0KB

I'm trying to download some stuff from Microsoft, including some updates because I just formatted, and all the downloads are 0KB. Why is this, and can I do anything to actually download the files?

Do you have a firewall or proxy blocking downloads ?

No, not that I'm aware of. Turning my firewall on/off doesn't change the download.

I tried downloading some of the Microsoft stuff I need from other sites, still no. I'm not really sure what the problem is.

Can you download anything non microsoft?

Yes, I download any other files just fine.
By the way, update.microsoft.com now brings me to the google homepage. I'm not sure what's wrong with this either.
