[SOLVED] All fullscreen games minimizing when i click on them.

When i try to open any game that is on fullscreen, it i will instantly refuse to let me play, and minimize the tab. it's been doing this for a couple days, and the only thing that does anything is going into windowed fullscreen or clicking a couple times and it won't tab back out.
So far i've:
Done a windows scan
Updated GPU drivers
Turned off game mode
Turned off Notifications on windows action center
Removed background processes
removed some new programs which might have been causing it

Please let me know if there is any fixes to this, it's driving me insane.

ah yeah sorry, i use a TUF X299 Mark 1 motherboard and i don't know exactly what psu i have but i do know it is 1050W. I mainly play valorant and minecraft and they both do the samething; they minimize when i attempt to open the tab.

The mark 1 is known to to have issues with the main bios have you made sure it's been updated at all?

Cpu bug fix asus knew this board had a cpu decoding problem this fixed it.

Cpu bug fix asus knew this board had a cpu decoding problem this fixed it.

You never installed the required drivers for this motherboard so that's the issue.... alright one moment we should be able to fix that.

In the order posted please install these. If they try telling you already have them please post here what ones it says you already have..


This first post is the chipset driver install this no matter what the system tells you... if it says you have a newer vs of this driver it's lying it what windows thinks to be asus drivers for the board and is wrong.... if it says you already have these drivers it again "is really lying to you the first link I posted to fix this driver would have ran.

If you were able to get everything installed through the drivers give gaming a shot now should more a lot more playable
