All games are suddenly running at single digit FPS

All of my games are suddenly running at single digit FPS. I was playing Fallout 4 just fine for few hours, and then suddenly the FPS tanked to 7-8. I quit then game, and another game does the same thing to me.

And I see the above spikes in MSI afterburner, but don't understand what's going on.

My specs are
i7-6700K
GTX 1080
16GB of Ram

The temperature all appear normal, not exceeding 63 at top for GPU, and 70 for CPU cores. I haven't OCed anything.

I haven't updated to the new driver since this one is working fine (at least until now). Haven't installed new programs either.

I would just turn off the computer and turn it back on.

The spikes don't matter but what you failed to include is an image of GPU usage in your graph.

My GPU usage is at 100%
