All games crash in fullscreen mode

Hi,

I haven't gamed in months and 2 days ago I tried to play a bit of BF1 but it kept freezing after I set the game to run in fullscreen mode.

I thought the game was at fault but I've just tried L4D2 and CoDWWII and it's the same - they all crash.

I've completely uninstalled the NVIDIA drivers in Safe Mode using a utility called DDU and then installed the latest version.

What else can I try?

Make sure you do not set the v-sync higher than your monitor's native rate and give it a try.

Make sure all of your memory is still detected.

Check the Event Viewer to see if a error was thrown at the time of crash.

What is you GPU and other stuff?
