All games crashing on new build

Recently upgraded my pc to Ryzen 5 (specs below) and now every game crashes on start up or regularly when playing. No idea why and even on the lowest settings, most games won't even load.

Worst example is Minecraft, I get bad stuttering and freezing when using 2x sticks of ram in dual channel but it's fine with only 1x stick. Also the resource packs glitch/don't render properly most of the time. (Didn't get chance to try other games).

Amd Ryzen 5 2600x
Asrock b450m pro4
2x8gb hyper X 2666mhz
Palit Gtx 1060 super Jetstream 6gb (latest drivers)
Kingston 240gb sad
750gb Samsung hd
Corsair 600w CXM PSU

Any help would be apreciated

ram is in the proper channel as board manual says then try to memtest each of them one at the time using the single slot test .

I have tried the ram in both 2 & 4 and 1 & 3 to be sure but it yields the same results. I am having trouble with memtest86 as it will not load. I just get a black screen and nothing loads when I boot from usb. The windows memory test was ok but I doubt that is the most reliable test.

i would made sure files is on usb drive and you need to restart computer with usb stick in to have it load in system and test .

It was a 16gb Kit so I assume they will be compatible?

That should be okay. You can test for defective memory with MemTest86. If you get any errors, replace the entire kit under warranty.

I have tested using Memtest 86 and found no errors over 3 passes (one on each dimm, and one on both at the same time)

do you have another gpu you could try in system even a old one to test games.

Hi, This was a fresh install of windows 10 after the hardware change.

Running perfectly on 1x stick of ram now
