i7 9700K stock boost
Corsair H100i AIO
rtx 2070 super
16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200 Mhz RAM
850 Watt PSU (Corsair)
Rog Strix Z390-F Motherboard
m2 ssd
I've just built this machine one week ago, and I have been trouble shooting ever since.
I've done a memory test, ssd test, tried a different gpu (a GTX 1060 6GB, though this tends to run at 75 degrees Celsius at all times and this card is also leading to whole PC crashes, rather than just game crashes). I've used a driver installer to update all drivers, though this didn't help. I've also deleted the wireless network driver that I had installed, as I heard it was a cause for crashing for others. Also, it seems the rtx 2070 super has graphical artifacting, but always in the same place and it's more like a line across the screen so unless it's a psu issue, I'm going to get the card swapped for a new one. The problem still persists with the 1060 6GB (my old gpu) which is currently in my machine, which leads me to believe there is another issue somewhere. I have a 650 watt EVGA psu so if I have no working fixes, I can try that but I'd rather leave that until there are no other options to try.
I originally thought it was happening in just one game, though every other game except for CSGO (though this could just be because I haven't played it long enough to crash) has crashed without any error message to the desktop (This includes two ubisoft games, Rust, and Squad if that makes any difference). I've verified the integrity of all my games.
I've monitored the temps with both HWMonitor and RivaTuner Statistics Server and had no issues with any of the new parts (inc. rtx 2070 super).
Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks.
